I studied commercial photography at Western Illinois University with an emphasis on small product and architectual.  When I moved to the northwest of Chicago I opened a studio and added to my repertoire by taking classes in portraiture and wedding photography.  I love doing photography, both assignments and my own personal choices.  This hobby turned profession allows me the option to be as artistic as I desire or follow the guidelines of an art director from an agency with the same enthusiasm.  I pray that I will always have the capabilitiy to hold a camera and frame a superb image in the viewfinder.  Even though I am now semi-retired I, with my camera and my equipment am always ready to travel to areas, local or distant, for photography projects.
